Magnesium oxide is used to treat conditions such as heartburn or acid indigestion.  It can sometimes function as a laxative where it would be taken for a short period of time. Magnesium oxide can also be a dietary supplement for low magnesium levels, helping to maintain an appropriate amount in the body. Some symptoms of a magnesium deficiency are leg cramps, migraines and fatigue, but a physician can tell you if your magnesium-level is causing those symptoms.

What’s All the Buzz About Magnesium Oil?

There’s been a fair amount of talk on the Internet recently about a new “miracle” product that cures many of today’s biggest health problems. The product, oddly enough, is termed “magnesium oil”. But you don’t drink it, or put it on food. You rub it onto your skin. Among others things, it’s supposed to prevent heart disease, lower your blood pressure and cure migraines. (more…)
